Church Services and Sunday School

Sunday Church Services: 10-11 a.m.
church-interiorChristian Science pastors are the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by the discoverer and founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy. They are read at services without comment by readers elected from among the church members. Each week the Sunday morning service includes hymns, a Scriptural selection, prayer, a solo, and the reading of our Weekly Bible Lesson. The Lesson consists of related passages from the Bible and Science and Health. The Lesson’s topic changes weekly and is available for study the week prior to the service. The same Bible Lesson is read in Christian Science churches around the world, in a variety of languages, every Sunday.

Wednesday Testimony Meetings: 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Each Wednesday members of the church and surrounding community gather to hear readings from the Bible and Science and Health on a timely topic, after which members of the congregation share how they have actively used Christian Science daily. Attendees share healings they have experienced and inspirational ideas, gained through their study of Christian Science, that have been especially helpful to them.

All are welcome at our services. Childcare is provided at every church service.

Sunday School: 10-11 a.m.
Children andĀ teenagersĀ are welcome to take part in the church’s Sunday School, which meets at the same time as the Sunday morning service. Students gain a basic foundation rooted in the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, and the Christian Science Weekly Bible Lesson, and they have an opportunity to learn how the ideas in the Bible and Science and Health can be actively applied to everyday lives. All are welcome, and child care is available in the children’s room for children not yet ready for Sunday School.
